Wow! I can't believe it's nearly October (though I'm totally the opposite of sad as I love Autumn/Halloween time; for me it is truly the most wonderful time of the year!!)

I do mourn the fact that my stupid mitten of a state is frigidly cold though; that's the only downside of Fall! :3 everything else is gravy (delicious, fatty gravy nomnomnom)

Anyways, I realized I hadn't blogged here in a looooonnggg time, so here's the news brief on the me:

I had so many plans for Halloween and Youmacon 2009...only to have my own financial reality smack me full on in the face like the tail end of really big fish: I'm wayyyy broke. Broker then the Joker in the beginning of "Jokers Millions" even! I know, it's sad! I've come to terms with my own poor-ness though, and to be honest, I'm used to it; lol not like I've ever been rich!

Anyways, the bottom line is that I don't have the *money* needed to buy supplies to make new costumes, and even if I did, I'm working and going to school and doing homework for school in all my "free time", so I can't afford to spend any of my supposed "free time" to make new costumes either...


Which sucks. Because new costumes make VannaS happy. It's not all bad though, the shiny at the end of the dark tunnel, is that I still have several awesome past costumes that I can wear! So I'll most likely be wearing my Lydia Juice (Female Beetlejuice/Lydz) costume at Youmacon/Halloween, and maybe my Jill Valentine...I've also been contemplating adding a few zombie bits to my Black Canary costume and going as a "Black Lantern Canary" since Halloween falls on the Saturday of Youmacon, but nothing is set in stone yet
