I suppose this is the part where you all scold me for how naive I was to post any of my photos online without first defacing them with numerous ugly watermarks. Go ahead.

The bottom line is that I don't like watermarks either but have recently suffered several people/companies downloading my images and reposting them on other sites without permission, nor even the courtesy to give credit. I have personally contacted over 100 different websites and individuals to inform them of their copyright infringement and to please take down my picture ASAP.

The biggest kick in the face about this is that I would much rather just be able to post photos of my bacon dress, costumes and other works without these glaring terrible marks on them (really truly HATE watermarks) however the cruelty of human nature has firmly moved me to the dark side on this one. The only places you should be able to view my bacon dress are this DevianArt page, my personal Tumblr page and if GISHWHES themselves post/print it.

THE BACON DRESS PHOTOS (along with anything else I create/post) are 100% copyrighted and if you are not me you have absolutely no right to post them elsewhere.

The other news is that, partially in response to the barrage of terrible, awful comments I have been party to recently due to the Bacon Dress fiasco:

I no longer have the drive nor need to create a new costume in time for Motor City Comic Con this coming May 2013. There is still time to come up with something new, and I do love Cosplay. But right now I feel pretty beaten down and broken by the world as a whole; putting myself further on display just feels like I'm asking for more abuse and honestly I would much rather just have a nice time this year. I had so many wonderful Doctor Who costume ideas too!

Guys I seriously cannot find the words for how amazing this years MCCC was! So I'll just babble incessantly and you can read it if you like! Friday was glorious; short lines & hysterical celebrities! Sean Patrick Flanery gave my Fiance and I some stellar 'Marriage advice' aka "YOU FUCKING OBEY HIM, AND YOU FUCKING OBEY HER!" then proceeded to turn my knees into jelly by demonstrating 'What women really want' with a rather suggestive hair pulling experience. Dean Cain is QUITE the charmer as well, I totally blushed and then we found our photo in the Detroit Free Press with him the next day, so at least we're a little photogenic right?

Saturday was just amazing, as that was my 'Black Widow' day. I love being in costume but when little kids get giddy around you it just makes it a million times better. I had several of the best little fans ever that day; newborns, toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers & adults so many flattering comments or just insanely blush-inducing ones. I had so much fun at the always epic 's table!

Sunday I honestly struggled to stay awake because I spent about 10 hours in costume the day before (and don't let Black Widow's high-energy Muay Thai fighting fool you; heels & leather catsuits ARE exhausting!) Even half asleep I still had fun with all the amazing artists & their families that were hanging out all weekend! Yay MCCC!

Guten Morgen People!

I've officially Graduated with my Associates Degree in Graphic Design and a specialty in Illustration, I've seen the new THOR movie, I ate my weight in sushi thanks to my adoring Father and Mother-in-law-to-be (best Graduation present EVER), the Red Wings won TWICE, the Tigers pitches a no-hitter (because Verlander is a demi-god) and I spent ALL of yesterday blissfully napping and watching movies/tv.

'Twas a good weekend to say the least!

I'll be spending the coming weekend at Motor City Comic Con (yep, all 3 days) meeting Tricia Helfer, Sam Huntington and other awesome artists/guests (too many to name, I love all of you) and have decided in my new found relaxing blissful lazy-ness that I don't really feel up to costumeing/cosplaying for the event.

Cosplay is hard work people! I've been kinda dead on my feet from the last couple semesters straight of Full-time work AND College that I'm just going to enjoy running around the con in t-shirts and jeans (and maybe sundresses; weather willing)

Hi guys,

'SavvyCo' is my brand new 'Official' Art page on DeviantART. While my 'Hakuchan' page will still be used for more personal stuff like cakes/pics and cosplay, this page will be for the more traditional arts {the drawings, paintings, logos/prints etc.}

And yes, I'll actually start updating the Gallery in the next few weeks once the rush of graduation is done!

Holy Crap People its 2011! How did such an insane year actually come to pass? Baffling.

To start off with I have no idea what's going on with the Con Circuit this year, Motor City seems to have dropped out of their Spring show...or at least hasn't updated a damn thing about it on their website since November 2010 [show is supposed to be in May 2011 btw]

I'll be graduating in May, Getting a house in July[-ish] with my studly fiance and probably be going to Youmacon and/or Detroit Fanfares this fall...there has been talk of Wizard World Chicago as well but who knows with the way life likes to shift around on us eh?

Other then the insane amount of work I did for my Edward Elric costume for Youmacon '10 I haven't started braingstorming for the new year yet given all the cost and time that goes into it.

Anyways, go watch the Neighbros on Youtube. They're hilarious and I fucking love them~!
